These Platform User Terms (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of StayReady Games.
StayReady Games is operated by STAYREADY LTD (“StayReady”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17205530, with its registered office at 66 Paul Street, London, England, United Kingdom, EC2A 4NA.
Please read these Terms before using StayReady Games. By selecting “I agree” when prompted, you agree to these Terms.
1. Your access to StayReady Games
StayReady Games is a business-to-business learning platform. You can use StayReady Games only where an employer, client, training provider or other organisation authorised by StayReady (your “Organisation”) has provided you with access.
You must be at least 18 years old to use StayReady Games unless we have expressly agreed otherwise with your Organisation and appropriate safeguards have been put in place.
By accepting these Terms, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or that you have otherwise been expressly authorised by StayReady to use the platform.
Your right to use StayReady Games depends on your Organisation continuing to have the right to provide you with access. You do not purchase an individual subscription from us under these Terms.
Access may be provided using an invitation, email and password, magic link, single sign-on or another authentication method we support.
2. The StayReady Games service
StayReady Games provides AI-powered workplace simulations designed to help people practise conversations and other professional situations.
The service may allow you to interact with simulated characters, give spoken or written responses, receive automated feedback and assessment, repeat simulations, review your learning history and use other learning features that we make available.
We may add, modify or remove features as the service develops.
3. Your right to use the platform
Subject to these Terms and your Organisation’s agreement with StayReady, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use StayReady Games for the professional learning, training and development purposes authorised by your Organisation.
This right does not give you ownership of StayReady Games, our software, our assessment methods, our content or any other intellectual property belonging to STAYREADY LTD or its licensors.
4. Your account
You must provide accurate information where requested and use only the account assigned to you.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share your account, allow another person to complete activities as you or attempt to access another user’s account.
Please tell your Organisation or StayReady promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
5. AI simulations and feedback
StayReady Games uses artificial intelligence.
When you take part in a simulation, you may interact with an AI-generated character or system. AI systems are probabilistic and can produce unexpected, inaccurate or inappropriate responses despite the safeguards we put in place.
Assessments, scores, recommendations and feedback produced through StayReady Games may also contain errors, omissions or inconsistencies.
StayReady does not guarantee that an assessment accurately or completely represents your ability, competence, workplace performance or likely performance in a real situation.
You should use StayReady Games feedback as a learning aid and apply appropriate human judgement to it.
StayReady Games outputs are not legal, HR, medical, financial or other professional advice.
6. Employment and other significant decisions
StayReady Games is intended for learning, practice and development.
STAYREADY LTD does not itself make decisions about your recruitment, employment, promotion, compensation, disciplinary status or termination.
Our agreements with Organisations provide that StayReady Games results must not be used as the sole basis for significant employment decisions such as recruitment, promotion, compensation, disciplinary action or termination.
Your Organisation may use StayReady Games information alongside other information and human judgement where this is lawful and consistent with its own policies and obligations.
7. Recordings, transcripts and assessments
Spoken simulations are recorded, transcribed and analysed.
StayReady processes your spoken or written responses, recordings, transcripts, simulation attempts, assessment results, AI-generated feedback and associated learning information in order to provide and operate StayReady Games.
We also record how you use the platform. A session recording shows what was on your screen, which can include your responses and the report you were shown. Session recordings are used only by StayReady to diagnose faults and improve the platform. They are not made available to your Organisation, and they are deleted automatically after 30 days.
Audio recordings and transcripts are retained for no longer than 12 months after the relevant learning activity or programme ends, unless our agreement with your Organisation specifies a shorter period. Further information about retention is provided in our Privacy Notice.
Agreeing to these Terms does not mean that you are giving data-protection consent on behalf of your Organisation or consenting to processing where consent is not the appropriate lawful basis.
8. What your Organisation can see
StayReady Games is provided to you through your Organisation.
Depending on the features available to your Organisation, authorised users within it may be able to access information relating to your activity on StayReady Games, including participation and completion information, simulation attempts, spoken or written responses, audio recordings, transcripts, assessment criteria, scores or results, AI-generated feedback, learning history and cohort or programme analytics.
You should not assume that activity completed through your Organisation’s StayReady Games account is private from your Organisation.
Your Organisation determines who within it is authorised to access this information and how the information is used, subject to applicable law and its agreement with StayReady.
9. Appropriate use of StayReady Games
You must use StayReady Games lawfully and for legitimate learning, training and professional-development purposes.
You must not:
- share accounts;
- interfere with or attempt to bypass security controls;
- access systems or data without authorisation;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the platform except with our written permission;
- introduce malicious software;
- scrape or systematically extract platform content or data;
- reverse engineer or attempt to derive source code except where the law expressly permits this;
- commercially reproduce, sell or distribute StayReady Games content without permission;
- impersonate another person;
- use StayReady Games to facilitate fraud or other unlawful activity; or
- use the service to promote or engage in threats, harassment, hatred, unlawful discrimination, violence, sexual exploitation or other seriously harmful activity.
This does not prevent authorised simulations from addressing difficult or sensitive workplace subjects in good faith. For example, a legitimate training scenario may involve practising how to respond to harassment, discrimination, threatening behaviour or another challenging situation.
You must not deliberately attempt to manipulate simulations or assessment systems in order to circumvent safeguards, generate prohibited content or misrepresent your participation.
10. Confidential and sensitive information
StayReady Games is designed to allow you to practise realistic workplace situations, but this does not normally require you to disclose identifiable confidential or sensitive information.
You should not include trade secrets, highly confidential business information or unnecessary personal information about identifiable colleagues, customers or other individuals in your responses.
You should take particular care before mentioning information about an identifiable person’s health, racial or ethnic origin, religion or belief, political opinions, trade union membership, genetics, biometrics, sexual orientation or sex life, or other highly sensitive matters.
Where possible, describe a situation without identifying the real individuals involved.
These restrictions do not prevent you from responding appropriately to information that is already part of an authorised simulation.
11. Content you provide
You retain whatever rights you otherwise have in content you provide through StayReady Games.
These Terms do not determine ownership of content as between you and your Organisation. Your employment, contractor or other agreement with your Organisation may separately affect ownership or confidentiality.
To the extent necessary to provide the service, you grant STAYREADY LTD a limited right to host, copy, transmit, record, transcribe, process, analyse and display content you provide through StayReady Games.
We may also process that content on behalf of your Organisation in accordance with our agreement with it.
This permission lasts only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant purposes, subject to the retention periods described in our Privacy Notice and any applicable legal requirements.
12. Improving StayReady Games
We may analyse the operation and effectiveness of StayReady Games to improve our simulations, assessment methods, prompts, AI systems, reliability and user experience.
We may use aggregated or anonymised information derived from use of StayReady Games for analytics, research, evaluation and product development.
We do not use identifiable learner conversations to train AI models for other customers.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your content to STAYREADY LTD.
13. StayReady intellectual property
STAYREADY LTD and its licensors retain all rights in StayReady Games, including its software, technology, interface, designs, assessment methodologies, prompts, models, documentation, branding and other materials owned or developed by StayReady.
Some scenarios or training materials may be created or supplied by your Organisation or another third party. Ownership of those materials is governed separately.
Unless we or your Organisation permit it, you must not reproduce or distribute simulation content outside the platform.
14. Your results and feedback
Where StayReady Games provides functionality to do so, you may view, save, copy, download or share your own learning feedback and results for legitimate personal or internal professional-development purposes.
You must comply with any applicable policies of your Organisation, particularly where your results contain confidential information belonging to it.
You may not use this permission to reproduce StayReady Games’ scenario library, assessment framework or other proprietary materials at scale or for commercial exploitation.
15. Privacy
Our Privacy Notice explains how personal information is handled in connection with StayReady Games.
Where your Organisation determines the purpose for which your learner information is processed, your Organisation will generally act as controller and STAYREADY LTD will process that information on its behalf.
Your Organisation may also provide its own privacy information explaining its use of StayReady Games data.
16. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service, but StayReady Games may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, security events, technical problems, third-party services or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may change the platform and its functionality as the service develops.
We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or that the service will operate without interruption or error.
17. Suspension and ending access
We may restrict or suspend your access where reasonably necessary because of a security risk, suspected misuse, breach of these Terms, legal or regulatory requirements, technical requirements or a request from your Organisation.
Your access may also end if your Organisation’s agreement with StayReady ends or if your Organisation withdraws your access.
When your access ends, you must stop using StayReady Games. Information associated with your use will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Notice and our agreement with your Organisation.
18. Third-party services
StayReady Games relies on third-party technology and service providers to provide parts of the service, including infrastructure and AI-related functionality.
Your use of integrations or third-party services that are provided separately from StayReady Games may also be subject to the relevant provider’s terms.
19. Disclaimers
StayReady Games is a training and development service. Workplace situations are complex, and practising a simulation cannot guarantee a particular outcome in a real conversation or workplace situation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, STAYREADY LTD does not guarantee that AI-generated content, assessments, feedback or other outputs will be complete, accurate, appropriate or error-free.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
The principal commercial terms, warranties and limitations governing the provision of StayReady Games to your Organisation are contained in our agreement with that Organisation.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as StayReady Games develops or where legal, regulatory, security or operational requirements change.
We will identify the current version and effective date.
Where we make a material change affecting your use of StayReady Games, we may require you to review and accept an updated version before continuing to use the platform.
This version supersedes version 1.0 of 21 August 2026, which did not describe session recording.
21. Relationship with your Organisation
These Terms govern your individual use of StayReady Games.
A separate agreement governs the commercial relationship between STAYREADY LTD and your Organisation. Nothing in these Terms gives you rights under that agreement unless expressly stated.
If your Organisation imposes additional policies relating to your use of workplace systems or training services, you must also comply with those policies.
22. Governing law
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms.
